Heidi Smith was a character designer and conceptual artist for ParaNorman. In 2013 she won an Annie Award for her design work on ParaNorman. She graduated from the California Institute of the Arts in 2008, and worked as a character designer for Henry Slick at Cinderbiter, and The Jim Henson Company
