Sandra Olivia Babcock (née Prenderghast) is Norman and Courtney's mother and is the niece of Mr. Prenderghast, the daughter-in-law of Grandma Babcock, and is a descendant of Aggie. She's very gentle in her way of parenting, a stark contrast to her husband's very abrasive parenting style.
A new-age woman, she is a believer in Astrology and the Afterlife and defender of Norman's Talents. She is seen to be constantly at verbal odds with her husband Perry, but is shown to love him despite that. Norman gained his ability from her side of the family, though it appears to have skipped her. After dealing with Aggie, Sandra happily gets along with her family in the end.
